A chance 2018 meeting in Amsterdam brought Mancunian Simon and Haut-Savoyarde Angelique together, and later, down a Chamonix aisle.

After moving to France during COVID, Simon saw architecture through Angelique’s eyes.

He’d seen her push against the tide while working on clients’ visions for years, and shared her frustrations at watching developers recycle tired formulas and treat homes like products, with too little thought for how they’d be lived in.

By combining Angelique’s instincts and architectural experience with Simon’s sales and marketing background, we officially started ODD. in 2025, a company that does things differently and reflects the best of our shared values.
