All great stories have a healthy dollop of love, and ODD.’s is no different.

A chance encounter in Amsterdam in 2018 brought Mancunian Simon and Haut-Savoyarde Angelique together - and later, down a Chamonix aisle.

When Simon moved to France at the start of COVID, he began to see Architecture through Angelique’s eyes - the love, frustration, and the battle to do things right.

She worked on clients’ visions for years, always pushing against the tide and longing to leave her mark.

She watched developers cut corners, recycle tired formulas and treat homes like products - built to be sold with too little thought for how they’d be lived in.

Angelique’s instincts and architecture experience, combined with Simon’s sales and marketing background, made it clear that our blend of skills and shared values could create something special - a company that reflects the best of us.

We started ODD. to create modern mountain homes with equal parts design and real life.

Every small decision, like materials, layout, lighting, and how spaces connect to their surroundings, is driven by how people live.
